Graeme Souness signed Woods in the summer of 1986 for £600k and was part of the influx of very successful English talent brought in by Souness. Woods went on to win 4 league championships and 3 league cups in his time which was cut short by Walter Smith only due to the 3 foreign player rule in European competition at that time. Chris Woods was rightfully inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999, in 230 appearances he has an incredible 119 shutouts. He’s a true Rangers legend in every sense.
